Tips to Resizing a Video

Keevi provides plenty of file formats to export your final video. Consider the effect of the file type you choose on video quality and size.

  • The MP4 file type is the best for maintaining video quality while keeping the file size small.
  • A MOV file type provides a video format of high quality while also being significantly large.
  • WMV is a small file size with better compression than MP4. But it’s incompatible with Apple devices.
  • An FLV file is easy to download and relatively small. But it's incompatible with most mobile devices.
  • An AVI file tends to be of a very large size. It might not be a great choice when trying to save on space.
  • It’s best to choose the resolution based on your type of project. But keep in mind a larger resolution equals a larger file size. A 720p video, for instance, will have a smaller file size than a 1080p video.
  • If you are recording a video or using our screen recorder, minimize movements and transitions to keep your file size small.
  • Aspect ratio refers to the relationship between the height and the width of the video. Get the right aspect ratio for your social media videos. It is vital in preventing inconsistencies as the videos display on your audience’s devices.
  • As you create your videos, always keep important features, such as text and image overlays away from the edges. This will make it easier to crop your videos without losing important information.

Why Do You Need a Video Resizer?

About 84% of people admit to buying a product or service by watching a video from the brand. And 66% of consumers would rather watch a video than reading text about a product.

True, numbers don’t lie. But unless you know how people watch videos, your content will not increase your leads or promote brand awareness.

You need to know the kind of videos that receive the best response from consumers.

To start with, make your videos short. Videos that are less than a minute long achieve a completion rate of about 68%. Videos lasting more than 20 minutes, on the other hand, have a completion rate of 25%.

This means shorter videos are your best bet at ensuring your audience gets your message.

You can cut, trim or split your video accordingly using Keevi’s free video resizer online. It takes a few easy steps.

It’s also essential to optimize your videos for mobile. About 90% of consumers use mobile devices to watch videos.

Be particularly keen on getting the right aspect ratio for your social media videos.

Over 70% of YouTube video consumption occurs through mobile devices. Studies have also shown that YouTube users spend about 40 minutes daily watching videos on mobile devices. As for Twitter videos, 93% of views happen through mobile devices.

You can change video dimensions online using Keevi’s free video resizer. Use our video aspect ratio converter to optimize the video frame size for social media channels. This will ensure your videos have consistent quality across all types of mobile devices.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
